Introducing the YTL Arena Bristol Instagram Takeover
We will hand over our platform to a wide range of musicians, poets and comedians, covering a diverse range of ages, genres and backgrounds to represent the South West’s eclectic performing arts scene and give them an opportunity to introduce themselves to our growing audience.
In six posts, they will talk us through their inspirations and aspirations, and will end with a special performance recorded just for us.
For our first takeover, we will be handing over to William Grant (@william_grant_music), a singer/songwriter from Penzance. William studied BA(Hons) Music at Falmouth University where he was able to explore and define his Folk/Rock/Americana style.
Last year, William released his debut album, ‘Estate Cars and Holiday Parks’ and has performed all around the South West, including Mr Wolfshere in Bristol. Make sure you check out our Instagram on the last Friday of each month for the latest takeovers, starting with William on Friday 25 September.
Earlier this year YTL’s plans to repurpose the Brabazon Hangars to create an arena for Bristol and the South West were granted planning permission. We will build the third largest arena in the UK, putting Bristol on the world stage for live music and entertainment. We want to support local artists from the very beginning of their journey, from their first gig on our community stage in Runway Bar to a sold-out show in the main arena.
